South Spring Hotel – Great Budget Hotel in Awassa

The owner/manager of this hotel is a friend of my brother-in-law and he invited us to his hotel while we were visiting. He recently inherited it from his father who built it. I was so impressed by his ambition and the strides he’s made in renovating and replacing furnishings. It is definitely a place I would stay. Especially loved the spacious grounds with mature, flowering trees and plants, which are missing in all new developments. I am sure people considering Awassa for a visit will want to know about this place. Here is the review I published on my blog:

South Spring Hotel in Awassa, Ethiopia is at the entrance of Awassa at the junction of the Addis/Awassa/Moyale highway and the road that goes through the center of Awassa.
